About the role:
We are looking for talented, curious, and energetic Test Engineers who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team inventing, designing, building, and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While supporting components of cutting-edge payment technology, you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and QA leads to improve testability, automation and tools,
- Build strong relationships with external teams with a goal of developing robust end-to-end test coverage,
- Learn end-to-end data flows in order to automate testing of the entire application suite,
- Design and develop QA automation tools and test frameworks,
- Work with the team to increase the test coverage,
- Execute testing during all stages of development and release cycle,
- Work with QA leads to develop and improve effectiveness of automation,
- Design and execute test plans, scenarios and scripts,
- Identify process deficiencies and suggest improvements,
- Conduct test plan reviews with stakeholders,
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects,
- Determine risks to test deliverables and create mitigation plans.
Key requirements:
- Experience working with UI/UX automation with Cypress, Selenium or WebdriverIO, multi-browser testing,
- Experience working with API automation with Java based frameworks - RestAssured, TestNg or JUnit,
- Hands-on experience in test planning, test scenarios creation, test data creation and executing test cases as well as preparing test data based on the business scenarios and creating tools and scripts to manufacture test data,
- Ability to understand complex enterprise level systems, various integration points, decent understanding of all networking layers, good understanding of software development lifecycle and processes,
- Working experience with web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit-testing, shell-scripting and RDBMS,
- Strong communication and sense of ownership and driver-ship Bachelors degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
