As Master Data Senior Specialist, you play a key role in centralizing data sources and streamlining different data types into a unified database to drive strategic data initiatives. This is achieved by managing product attributions, mapping activities, data validation processes which are essential for enabling global reporting and cross-source analysis.
In close collaboration with markets, regions, IT, and Global Business Services (GBS) teams, you will oversee the entire data integration process, from the initial validation stage to the final load in Azure, encompassing retail audit data, wholesalers, consumers and other categories. You will manage the expansion of data coverage by adding new markets to the scope and facilitating changes in existing markets, including adjustments to KPIs and data sources. Additionally, you will be required to keep a high standard of quality in the maintenance and mapping of JTI C-SKUs in SAP.
As Master Data Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for
- Product & Data Management: You will define product attributes, oversee data mapping to ensure consistent product representation
- Data Integration & Expansion: You will lead new market additions, product group inclusions, and data source changes within the data management system
- Data Quality & Availability: You will define & monitor KPIs to measure data quality and availability for existing markets
- OneData & Change Management: You will manage requests for modifications to the data platform (OneData) and ensure smooth implementation
- Data Validation: You will establish and manage data validation processes to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in the product data
- Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics as educational background
- With 1+ year minimum experience in the tobacco industry, focusing on strategical insights, working with Nielsen data, consumer tracker data and product mapping.
- Strong command of English Language (oral and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management skills, able to manage well the details and quality without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Extensive product knowledge (JTI & Competitor) across Combustibles & RRP
- MS Office (Advanced Excel )
- Advanced knowledge of RADRS database is a plus
- Power BI Intermediate is a plus
- SAP Proficiency is a plus
- Automation / Macro / SQL would be an advantage
