We are a fintech startup in Poland, working to stay compliant with MiCA and DORA regulations. As we prepare to launch operations, we need a tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual to help monitor security, report incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance from the start.

Incident Reporting Manager (IT Officer)

Location: Warszawa

Job description

You will be part of the IT team, responsible for monitoring security risks, tracking incidents, and ensuring compliance with MiCA and DORA IT security standards.

Since our operations will officially start in 4-6 months, the initial engagement includes:

Flexible working hours
Consulting & advisory role with a minimum working hours and minimum monthly maintenance compensation fee
Full-time involvement and compensation package from launch, leading MiCA and DORA IT compliance efforts

Key Responsibilities

Monitor & report security incidents (fraud, hacks, system issues).
Track transactions & identify suspicious activity.
Prepare basic reports for regulators when needed.
Work with the IT & compliance team to improve security.
Follow cybersecurity best practices and help prevent fraud.

Requirements

It is beneficial if you are applying as a resident of Poland. Polish citizenship or an EU passport is a MUST! Please do not apply if you dont meet this criteria.

What We’re Looking For

Some experience or studies in IT security, cybersecurity, or compliance
Interest in crypto, fintech, and risk management
Basic knowledge of blockchain security & fraud detection tools (or willingness to learn)
Fluent in English (Polish is a plus)
Knowledge of DORA & MiCA IT requirements – a big advantage
Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to grow in a startup environment
